홍콩을 기반으로 활동하는 Jayson Haebich는 빛과 레이저, 기술을 이용해 공간을 새로운 방식으로 경험하게 만드는 아티스트이자 연구자입니다.

제이슨에게 빛은 단순히 공간을 밝히는 요소가 아닙니다. 형태를 만들고, 움직임을 만들고, 때로는 사람과 공간의 관계까지 변화시키는 하나의 재료에 가깝습니다.

Based in Hong Kong, Jayson Haebich is an artist and researcher working with light, lasers, technology, and space to create new ways of experiencing environments.

For Jayson, light is not simply something that illuminates a space. It can become a material that creates form, movement, and new relationships between people and their surroundings.

In his work, lasers, projection, and interactive technologies meet architecture and movement, transforming familiar places into completely different sensory environments. Rather than simply looking at the work from a distance, audiences often experience it from within the light and movement itself.

Jayson is interested in the intersection of art, technology, and science, and in how movement and cultural elements can be translated into new experiences through light and technology.

Open to Collaboration

Because Jayson’s work expands light and technology across entire spaces, it can connect naturally with many different fields.

His practice could work especially well with architecture, spatial projects, performance, dance, music, cultural institutions, and brand projects where light becomes an important part of the experience rather than simple decoration.

Interactive environments that respond to audience movement, projects where performance and light move together, or works that translate the culture and stories of a particular place into a new language of light all offer interesting possibilities.
